November 25, 2010 --- 12/21/2010 NEW Updates read below
We started our application process with a wholesaler to carry our books for them to sell.
This Wholesaler is - Lightning Source / Lightning Source UK Ltd. - is an Ingram Content -
They are part of Ingram Books Company.
This process takes 4-6 weeks for us to set up our account with this wholesaler to sell our books.
How will our books be sold by Lightning Source US / Lightning Source UK Ltd.?
Our printed books will be sold by Lightning Source US, and by Lightning Source UK. Ltd, to their book Resellers if
they are interested in carrying and selling our books. This goes for all bookstores (Barnes & Noble) / (Borders) and
on-line bookstores and the thousands of Independent Bookstores. They will be able to order books from our
wholesaler to place on their shelf or for people walking into a bookstore to order your book.
Books sold as E-Books are made available to the many on-line bookstores to sell as well.
Remember we can not make any of the thousands of book Resellers Bookstores to carry any book that they do not
want to.
Also as we set up each book that Lightning Source will carry we will be setting up the books as Returnable as well.
This means any Book Reseller that buys any of our books, they can return it back to us the publisher or back to the
wholesaler at any time. We pay the book Reseller back what they paid us. This also goes for books that their
customers decide to return.
-----
Question - How long does it take to set up each book with Lightning Source after we the publisher submit the authors'
book?
Answer, The process time can be from 3-6 weeks, after they receive our finished printed copy of the authors book that
we send to them, for their process to get it into their system.
I would like to just remind the writers who will become our authors, as well as our existing authors, this is why it takes
about 6-8 months for the publishing process time before a book becomes released, as their are other processes that
takes place before any book is released.
----
December 17, 2010
We will keep everyone up to date on the process with our affiliation with Lightning Source / Lightning Source UK Ltd.,
and when we will be sending our books to them to carry and for them to distribute our books.
Also, when Lightning Source has our authors' book in their system they will be notifying all of their Book Resellers
customers about our books that they will be carrying.
Once again to our authors. Remember we can not make any of the thousands of book Resellers Bookstores order or
carry any books on their shelf that they do not want to.
But customers will be able to walk into any bookstore and place a order for your book.
Update December 21, 2010

Our Books are Available through?
Our Wholesalers
Our books are carried by our Wholesaler Lightning Source Inc., and they have eight offices around the world that are selling our
books.
A notice from Our Wholesaler:
Selling your book through our distribution channels
Baker & Taylor (B&T) is one of our distribution partners and is a primary supplier to libraries. B&T distributes books, calendars,
music, and DVDs to schools and both public and specialty libraries worldwide.
LSI submits its title metadata to B&T along to all of our distributors. At Ingram Book Company (IBC) and Amazon, Barnes &
Noble and all of our title info is picked up, where the audience is, the general consumer. Since B&T targets libraries they will, on
occasion, elect not to carry a specific title-- regardless of the printer or publisher -- if they feel it won't generate interest from their
target audience.
LSI cannot *make* B&T or any of our distributors carry a title. It is completely at the discretion of the book buyers at these
Main Home Offices. While a title setup at LSI should be on B&T or any of our distributor sites, we cannot *guarantee* it will be.
