A Literary Agent is the middle person that goes between you, the Author, and the Publishers.

Q. Is there a fee associated with your Agent that deals with your Publishing Company?
A. With our Agent they do not get any part of your Royalties. Your Royalty from your book sale is all yours. There is a one (1) time fee that is involved, which covers for their
time involved with your manuscript. Our agent is part of our publishing company since we are together in the same company. This is why we accept all manuscripts in all
genres, unlike those other Agents that are separate from Publishing Companies, as they try to find publishers that are interested in your writing genres. This is why this process
outside of ISOTUT can take several months for any agent to find a publisher that might be interested in your manuscript.
Note: Agents are separate from the publishing companies. Agents have their own company that they work from. This is why the agents charge a very high fee for their time and
service to use them to search for a publisher. And just because you use an agent it does not mean they can find a publisher, and or, it might take a year or more before a
publisher will take on your manuscript. This is due to the publisher already having books lined up for a year that they will be publishing.
Also writers' / authors' needs to remember: Nothing is guaranteed in book sales!.
