About the Copyright forms:
Copyright of your book. There are several fees based on which form that is used. We also know that other publishers have charged twice the amount for these fees, when they
charge to copyright your book. The basic copyright is $50.00, but based on the form used, it can increase to $175.00. Here is that link as well www.copyright.gov . Only you
own the copyright to your book material, not the publisher. It is your material and not the publisher's. And the copyright certificate is yours, which you will receive in the mail
from the copyright office. If you do not receive your certificate within 1 year, you can call to verify where it was sent.
The publisher has no rights to keep your certificate. If it is mailed to your publisher, they should mail it to you.
You can do the copyright for your self.
All we ask is for our authors to pay only for the publishing fee that is associated with publishing of your manuscript, if you decide to publish with us.
Q. Who owns the copyright of my material?
A. You own your material copyright.
We do not go about owning your manuscript as other publishers do. That is your manuscript not ours. You have full ownership of your work.
But what we can do as your publisher over time and with book sales, is to see if another publisher might be interested in the re-print rights of the book. This process is done
only through the our agent and us your publisher.
