About the Author

Michelle Ford, is a 39 year old mother who lives in Toronto, Ontario.
Although she grew up in Toronto she reflects on her early years, of the time
spent in Barbados W.I., which is her family background.   She has fond
memories of Barbados of herself and  brother running through the cane fields
without a care in the world, eating snow cones, sugar cane and making kites.  
She went to school in Toronto and had faced many obstacles when she
became a mom at a young age. Michelle persevered and overcame those
challenges as she  continued on with her schooling and became a Registered
Nurse. As she reflected on life and realized she needed a change, a
permanent one, she decided to give her heart to the LORD in 2000. She
married 3 years later and her journey has never been the same. She enjoys
sports such as volleyball and basketball, hiking, biking with her husband,
spending time with her daughter and taking in God's creation.  She attends
Faith Miracle Temple, a church based in Toronto which also has other sister
churches around the world. She is  hopeful that the Lord’s plan will allow her
to continue in  ministry and do mission work around the world where her
nursing skills can be used in remote areas, and God’s word and truth can be
preached to a lost people. So until then, her prayer is that she will reach and
provide care for the lost souls that she encounters daily.

author, Michelle T. Ford

shares about the struggles that she personally had gone through in her own life and how God's promises have and
still are delivering her from them today.

"I can relate", says the author, at the times when she was on her own raising her daughter.  Unsure if she would
have enough money gathered together at the end of the month to pay rent and the bills.

"I know what it's like", says the author.  As she reflects on the difficult times of raising a teenager. As her once
little princess became increasingly out of control, disrespectful, selfish, rebellious and clearly headed down the
wrong path.

"I understand what it's like", says the author.  As she reflects on a marriage that was torn, loveless, unsupportive
and condemning and the many days spent in silence.

"But, I also know where hope can be found", say the author.  As she shares her testimony of how the promises of
God delivered her through the difficult times. Walk with her as she shares with you the hope that can be found in

Baker & Taylor (B&T) is one of our distribution partners and is a primary supplier to libraries. B&T distributes books, calendars,
music, and DVDs to schools and both public and specialty libraries worldwide.

LSI submits its title metadata to B&T along to all of our distributors. At Ingram Book Company (IBC) and Amazon, Barnes &
Noble and all of our title info is picked up, where the audience is, the general consumer. Since B&T targets libraries they will, on
occasion, elect not to carry a specific title-- regardless of the printer or publisher -- if they feel it won't generate interest from their
target audience.

LSI cannot *make* B&T or any of our distributors carry a title. It is completely at the discretion of the book buyers at these
