Author Hem is a native of State of Rajasthan in India and of age 65 years and an Indian citizen.
Hem (with his wife) is presently visiting his children in USA on six month visit visa. Hem has four
children - eldest daughter married to an US citizen and both live in India and remaining three
children two daughters and one youngest son live in USA.
Hem is a graduate mechanical engineer (section A&B from The Institute of Engineers) and was in
employment for 17 years and left as construction manager after working for blue chip companies in
India. Hem was the proprietor of a small scale industry and practiced law for ten years in
subordinate & high courts of the State of Rajasthan in India. Hem was also the president of a trade
union in the capital of India, Delhi.
Hem was also a member and senior office bearer (State Secretary) of a national political party and
contested election for member of parliament in 1998 on behalf of this national political party. Hem
also did some research on economics with especial interest in monetary economics. As a politician,
Hem braved persecution in order to protect the majesty of law and preffered to go to jail in 2006
for 2 months for contempt of court for making a written complaint (without publishing it any where)
with documentary proof to various constitutional authorities (of executive ,legislative and higher
judiciary) against judicial corruption & highhandedness. Hem was also the editor of a weekly Hindi
news paper (a mouth piece of his political party) and still writes letters on politico - economical
issues, which have been published for the last 6 years in national and international media too.
Hem is interested in the matters of the State of USA because his children live here, hence he cares
for USA.

About the Book
The on-going economic crisis of USA triggered by financial crisis of 2007 (though the indications and likely hood of
financial crisis emerged earlier but the full blown financial crisis started in 2007 therefore I have called this crisis as
financial crisis 2007) started by sub prime crisis, has engulfed the entire world in it. Hence it is natural that the best brains
(intellectuals) of not only USA but also of the entire world is trying to find out the solution to these economic crisis. But
these well-intentioned people neither have succeeded so far nor are likely to succeed in any future. This for the simple
reason that of late Americanism - which brought not only so much economic and military power to USA but also respect
and love for Americans in the entire world - has been betrayed by Americans and they will not come out of this crisis
unless they revert back to Americanism in spirit and especially in their conduct.
There is a difference between Americans and Americanism.
Americans is sum total of an American, which is simply a legal term and applies to whosoever is the citizen of USA.
Though Americanism has been developed by Americans but Americanism or for that matter any ‘ism’ is the aggregate of
the traits, believes and values of the people who develop this ism to the extent that it becomes so powerful not only in the
field of hard power (regarding economical and martial power) but also in the field of soft power (regarding political
power and various ideas and mechanism for realizing human values) that it can be adopted world over by other people
too (non - Americans in this case), wherever and whenever other people consider it worth emulating. In other words
Americanism can be and is being and will be adopted by non-Americans too.
