Autobiography - This is a Personal Experience
‘Battling Guillain Barre Syndrome / Acute Relapsing CIDP’. This is a true story of Michael J. Kiser’s life experiences, which started on May 14, 2006 and he is still battling to fully recover
from this syndrome.
Michael J. Kiser’s reason for writing this book is to help and to give insight to others that are going through this and for those that might end up going through this syndrome. Very little is
known about this syndrome, which attacks male and female at any age from New born to the elderly and all races.
This book is also for those people that has no idea what this syndrome does to a person that is going through this life changing and or life taking syndrome. This book is to help all to
understand what transpires in a persons life that is going through this syndrome.
Of course every one that does end up experience this syndrome will notice that each case is totally different than the other so the doctors really cannot say much due to that each case is
different. Why is that, well each person is totally different than the other. No two people will have the same experience, even though this syndrome does the same thing to every person that
comes to experience this syndrome, which is that this syndrome attacks the nerves and as it does that the muscle stops working, which causes the paralyse in the feet legs and hands and
arms.
And the healing as well will be different for each person that experience this Auto-immune System Syndrome.
The doctor will tell you that they do not know on how long it will take for your body to heal from this. Because that is true, since each case is different than the past cases. But they all are
similar in nature.
The healing is slow as the nerves heal and learns to re-control the muscles once again.
The best way to learn and to understand this syndrome is from reading personal accounts from people that are going through are have completely healed from this syndrome. No medical
book will give you more insight than people's own personal accounts of dealing with GBS / CIDP. From us (the people that are dealing with this syndrome), you will learn more than any
doctor can tell you what you will come to experience during this event.
I have learned more on what to expect during this experience from others that had been through this syndrome or was still going through the healing and recovering, more than what the
doctors were telling me. Because they can only tell you what other GBS / CIDP patients are telling them.
And, yes it is all based on what the patients are telling their doctors. Since the doctors really do not now what you are feeling and they really do not know what you can or cannot do,
other than to watch you try to do things.
And yes you will heal and recover back to being about 90-100 percent to the way you were before this event had accrued.
